gina id like to help if i could but best i can give is advice, get out of city area.

atlanta is expensive but once out side of city and into rual areas you will likly notice a drop in costs unless things have changed a lot since i was there, and if costs had jumped im sure my sister would have left just as quikly.

here in NY its a bit reversed, country is a bit more expensive than local city of syracuse but NY is expensive all over. cost of living exceeds pay rate. poverty rate for family of 4 is is a bit over $40,000. average pay is $15,000. even that seems like a lot to me any more. some of the diferences may be small but when milk is $4.50 a gal and $2 bread is cheepest in store, well i think you start getting idea.

Hi, my name is Gina. I am a single Mother with 7 children. My children and I moved from a Abusive relationship in Phiadelphia to Georgia for a safe and better life. Though Georgia is a safer enviornment to live in if you have children, finacially it is hard to support the children unless you have 3 to 4 children with a Husband or family support. Georgia is a very expensive place to live in. We lived in Georgia for at 3 years and I am still struggling with the children. Before I came to Georgia, I had open my on family childare center. Buisness was good and we were able to pay the bills. I am in need of moving back up north. I found a property that I will be able to afford on a monthly bases. This is the hard part, well at least hard for me becuase I dont have any family who could support me. Many large corporations and government agencies will donate old equipment to non-profits when they get newer replacements.  Contact your local phone company (accounting dept) and ask them about how to put in a request for help - they usually have old service vans, copiers, and the likes so most likely have old computers, too. Your local utility company is another possible resource, city hall, etc.

On Saturday june  13 2009, I will join hundreds of others to help raise money to plant lilac trees in memory of a 2 month and 17 day old angel his name is Landen Kenneth Paul Church McRobie .  With the donations we receive we will be hosting a event called  Lilac’s For Landen .  This event is to be held at Hardy Park Brockville from 10 am till 6 pm.   By making a donation , you are supporting  us in are attempt to remember this young angel. 

I have a personal stake in this particular event. My name is Marcia Church  and  Landen is my son.  He was an  amazing gift sent from above and then was taken so soon. I have started this event in his name because I don’t want people to forget him or other children who were taken to soon.            

The donations we are looking for include toys, candy, gift certificates, and balloons, anything that would be a prize for people of all ages.  We are also looking for food donations that could be used to have a charity barbeque all funds raised will be used to buy the Lilac trees to put in the school yards and parks in the community we are also hoping to buy some benches also. We are also looking for donations of t-shirts ranging in sizes right up to 3XL if possible so we could have all of the staff at the event wear them. We have about 20 children helping out with event that will need t-shirts also.  

We have also made up jars for this event we are also looking for business’s in are community willing to put jars in there business if you are willing give me a call at 613 498-0283.

Christ-Way Community Services is a grassroots organization that assists children and families whose lives have been impacted by the challenges of poverty and other unfortunate situations reach their educational, leaderhip, and career goals. We work in the Delta region of Arkansas where many residents live at or below the poverty level. We provide our services to our partcipants without charge to them because the need is so great and they cannot afford to pay fees. It has been very difficult to secure funding for our program. I am a Mother of 4 children, My 12 year old stepdaughter whom I have gaurdianship of due to both her biological parents ahaving drug addictions, a 7 yr old girl with ADHD ODD BiPolar and Asthma, a 5 yr old girl with Autism and a 4 yr old boy, I have been seperated from my husband for over a year and been struggling to support myself and children I live in Boston ma. at my parents 4 bedroom apartment there are 10 of us in the apartment and we are over crowded I receive public assistance and my autistic child receives SSI. Due to the emotional traumas that myself and children have been subjected to I am trying to relocate to the Charlotte area in North Carolina the problem I am running into is I do not receive any child support and do not have the financial means to make a move such as that. I am looking for any programs or resources that may be able to help me to make a fresh start and a better way of life and better quality of life for myself and children any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I am a divorced mom who is disabled from domestic violence.My children and I were left with nothing other then struggling to survive. I really want to be able to provide for my kids. I am struggling finding a job because of my disability. I don't have a car so that makes it even harder to apply for jobs. I am hoping to get a grant or help in some way that I can get a car that will enable me the opportunity to get employment and provide properly for my children. I am also struggling with getting the needed devices for being Deaf. I have even tried to get assitive devices from the social service departments and they don't cover anything for the Deaf. Since I am currently on disability I have no way of getting a loan for a car or devices. I have survived being abused and now I would like to show not just for myself but also for my children and others that have or are currently in a abusive situation that you can make it. I would appreciate any suggestions or any grants that may be out there that I can apply for. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
